The Descent RPG

The old, grizzled sellsword spits once, black bile into the heart of the sputtering campfire, and motions next to him. His eyes, you notice, must have once shone so brightly, the sort of eyes that would have stolen the souls of many a young admirer. Yet now it seemed that no spark could ever relight those eyes.

THE DESCENT is a stylistic exercise masquerading as a retro RPG. Based on Into the Odd, Tunnel Goons, and other NSR games, it aims to convey the feeling of a dark and dangerous world with artistic influences from Evangelion and Sword World.

As an aesthetic artefact, it is entirely untested, and likely will not receive many updates. As such I am offering it as a PWYW release to the community. Hopefully this will help with moving towards a new mode of interaction, one that supports the marginalised while not defining itself with commerce. Feedback is, however, very welcome. Enjoy!
